In 8 years in Washington D.C., Congresswoman Kristi Noem only passed one bill into law and was paid $1.4 million to do it. She missed more votes than almost any of her colleagues, and traveled the world on the taxpayer dime - notably posing for a picture at the Great Wall of China with a Congressman that resigned amidst a government corruption scandal.  

While visiting the Michael J. Fitzmaurice Veterans Home in Hot Springs today, Senator Billie Sutton released his “Strong in Service to State & Nation” Veterans Plan. Sutton’s plan highlights his priorities as governor to support, recognize, and honor the service of South Dakota veterans.

On Thursday, Dr. Malm, one of Sutton’s actual neighbors, submitted a letter to the editor titled “Neighbors, locals know Sutton best,” denouncing Noem’s negative tactics and reinforcing the truth about Sutton.

Wednesday evening, Keloland TV aired a fact check of Noem’s latest attack ad, “Neighbors.” Reporter Angela Kennecke found that the so-called “neighbors” featured in the ad were actually GOP-insiders that lived in entirely different towns or up to 38 miles away from the Suttons.
